Mocha,
The announcement said "kennel," not "pound." The kennel is the place where good doggies go to sleep at night. The pound is where bad doggies go.
(See, Compass, I can be nice. )
Your good intentions are heartwarming. However, you gave the thread to the wrong person.
Espicially when this little bear also keeps a whip hidden in her car should she ever need to use it.
Since Mocha is keeping the ruler but the bear's car is unguarded, I'll use the whip instead. (Colonel Tigh will be pleased about this new way of disciplining and motivating crew members).
How appropriate that this is Holodoc's whip. The next time that Holodoc touches this thread, I will use the whip like so...
*CRRRRACK!*
OUCH! Apparently, I need some practice so that I avoid hitting my legs. But I will be ready by the time that Holodoc next steals the thread. On the other hand, she doesn't know that my aim is poor, so maybe she'll be fearful enough that she'll stay away from the thread... unless she's truly desprate for negative attention.
Ironically, I could use medical attention for the bruise on my leg.
I think that I owe doggie Mocha thanks for keeping the ruler for me. I'll give her a nice head rub the next time that I see her.

Mocha,
The announcement said "kennel," not "pound." The kennel is the place where good doggies go to sleep at night. The pound is where bad doggies go.
Your good intentions are heartwarming. However, you gave the thread to the wrong person.
[snip]
I think that I owe doggie Mocha thanks for keeping the ruler for me. I'll give her a nice head rub the next time that I see her.
Ah...well, "good" doggies get to sleep on the "big bed" with the rest of the pack and so I know I'm a good doggie. And I didn't give the thread to the wrong person. You didn't have a rough day, Spike did. :P:

This little bear ended up with a destroyed tire on her car due to a metal graite in the parking lot at work that drains water in the parking lot. :( Didn't realize the tire was destroyed until I got half-way home & was at a stop light & saw smoke coming up from around my tire. Thought I had just knocked it out of alightment. :( Had to call my brother to come help me change the tire so I could get home tonight.

The words recipe and apples have jogged my memory. You would not happen to have a good recipe for an apple pie lying around, would you? I have "inherited" recently a fridge full of apples, and I tried making a pie myself, but it did not turn out all that well:( The big picture is that there are too many apples, they are going bad fast, and I don't have the heart to throw them away. There must be something I can do with them.

 The tires for my mom's car cost more than mine do. Cost on 1 of her tires would just about cover the cost for 4 tires on mine.
Just pulled out the receipt from where I paid for my tire this morning. The tire that was put on this morning was a P205/55R16 Michelin Exalto Pilot 91H 29192. Just a guess, but were you just now trying to tell your Cylon room-mate to stop playing around with the environmental control systems? Maybe he is bored and he has nothing to do. You should send him on a quest. Cylons loooove quests. They like making big plans and carying them out.

Some books there is the classic version of that came out some time back & then there are some that have been redone to go along with the movie.
I have a car that I drive. Public transportion doesn't come out to where I live & it would be a long walk to get to where I would be able to use public transportation.
