Last Exile - Disk 5 "Grand Stream

Hey all you anime fans!

I just bought the 5th disk of Last Exile today! It's not supposed to be out until the 10th, but I saw it at Best Buy for 21.99 and couldn't wait. I'll post a review tomorrow after I've had some time to sit down and watch it. The guy at Best Buy told me that Disk 6 won't be out until October.....! I'm having so much fun watching this series - I just wish that I knew how many disks there were in the entire series! I'm also rewatching the earlier episodes every evening on G4/TechTV's Anime Unleashed this month.

I did say that I haven't watched Disk 5 yet - I will have more time tomorrow....I'll let you know then.

I love the series as a whole - there is very little not to like. I'm kind of "hit and miss" with anime, some I like and some just don't grab me. When I do like something, it's usually in a big way.

There is a character in Last Exile that visually reminds me of someone here at Fleets - the Vice Captain of the Sylvana - who does she remind you of?

I was just replying when I saw a post with no words in it. You corrected it soon after I guess.

I loved this anime too! I have no idea who that lady reminds you of. But I did like her too! I love all the characters! This is the kind of animation I would have loved to have done had I been talented enough to do it.
