The lady who stole your heart...
So, who was the beauty that set your heart a-flutter (or made you think things you had never thought before)?
In my own case, it was, and still is, Flight Corporal Rigel. No other held a candle to her.

While I thought about making a statment by voting other, the mini does not offer as many examples of glamorous babes as TOS does.
I have to go with Athena on this.
Any continuation effort without Jensen would be a travesty.
Even at 47 years old,I bet she still stops traffic.

Okay, so there is a lot more "Dude! That's your MOM?!" potential with her than with Ms. Rush, but I have this real thing for braids...

I'd have to say Athena too, even though towards the end she didn't seem to get much airtime.

Actually,I could go for a woman 10 years older than I.
I have seen a lot of derogatory posts at SciFi about Maren's age,but hey, life rolls on for us all.
Rush has held up well over the years according to pics at her fan sites.
Still have to go with Athena.

For me it was a toss-up between Serina and Sheba. So I had to go with the one I felt the most for "back in the day." That's Serina for me. I was close to Boxey's age at the time and she was (and is) so elegent!
I love Sheba now, but "back in the day" I thought she was too angry (and weepy). I didn't start developing "a thing" for Anne until after BG was over and I saw her later work.

One more thing, if not for Serina and Sheba, I would have voted OTHER. Bree is awesome, too!

Fascinating that a character Larson 86'd is the most popular babe.

Fascinating also is that she of all players has gone the farthest away from BSG without looking back.

Athena
Cassiopeia caught my eye the most but it is Athena I would have wanted to go out with if I was a young single colonial warrior.
Cassiopeia may have been arguably the most beautiful but it was only a question of degrees. Cassy was a bit too wild for me. After a tired day of shooting cylons I think she would expect me to take her out to the Rising Star and party when I need a good nights relaxation.
Sheba was always a bit too "flighty" for me and yes jjarkman is right she cries a bit too much. I think I'll leave her to Apollo since he seems to have an eye on her. Did anyone ever see Anne Lockhart in Buck Rogers. I didn't see a lot of difference between that character and a non-military Sheba. I have never seen Anne anywhere else so I have always been curious if Anne is "Sheba" or is the character no way related to her personality.
Athena was beautiful, seemed the most intelligent of the woman on the battlestar and had a strength of character that was second to none. By the end I think she needed a good new warrior. Since my friend Starbuck already seemed to have cast her to the daggets for Cassey I think she is available. When they make season 2 I think I'll stop by the CIC, see how she's doing, and see if I can make reservations on the Rising Star.
I better get ready for a patrol. There is a hot enlisted woman in the CIC but I know Adama frowns on fraternization so I guess I'll just have to forget about her. That's too bad because I always know what I'm fighting for as I sit in my viper prior to launch and that sexy voice says to me, "Launch when ready".

With some of the lines that the gals of BSG were given
I often wandered how on earth they were able to keep
a straight face when saying them.

Most definitely Maren Jensen was the "beauty" of Battlestar Galactica. One wonders what she looks like today. It would be very nice if she appeared at a con; I know that many fans would love to see her (including me).
I've met both Jane Seymour and Anne Lockhart in person, and both are wonderful, classy individuals. Anne Lockhart is so very down to earth and easy to talk to....

I had to vote for Maren. Laurette is a beauty, Jane Seymore just has classic looks, Anne is REALLY cute, but Maren is just...would it be cliche if I said perfect?

Thanks!
Thanks for the welcome shiningstar. I'm glad I've found these boards. Great to see like-minded people out there in the wasteland of cyberspace.
Great username, BTW. Also, perfect for a sister to the Rising Star.

GA

Yep she is, as was Cassiopia, Serina, and Athena.
They were all strong role models in their own way.
