Is this game going to P.C.?
I really hope someone can tell whether or not this game is coming out on P.C.? Because you really do not have the cool option of using a joystick in the versions available now, which...sucks! So it has to like all other good games come out for P.C., but when?? Oh, and using the joystick makes for a more realistic game play!

I know BLuesquad. I'm really better at missions when I have
them on my own computer rather then having to use the XBox.

XBox & PS2 Joystick
Greetings Shiningstar & BlueSquad2001
This is my first time posting here but im a long time fan of BSG TOS.
After reading this thread i had to join up and support my fellow warriors
There is a joystick for the XBox & PS2 . It's the Top Gun Fox 2 PRO made by Thrustmaster (yep its the same quality joy stick as the PC counter part ) and it works like a charm! All functions supported on the XBox version. I love doing the roll over & fireing my weapons all at once .
I have finished the game on normal and had started hard mode. I have not yet finished hard mode as i let a friend have the game for a few weeks. Im loveing the model viewer. Renders are great!
I am sorry though to report i do not have this game for the PS2 :uhdrop: . I can not comment on how good the joystick works for it but seeing the 2 games are the same it should work well.
If anyone is on live with an XBox and wants to share thoughts or a friendly game look me up! My username is my Live tag
PS: Just a side note. I have the DVD box set. If you check the ep The Long Patrol you will see the 6 mill Viper has a "Hat" . The Fox 2 Pro is almost set up the same way but with the "Hat to the far left & the 2 buttons center & right. Enjoy!

For those of us who elect not to own XBox or PS2, will there be a PC version available in the future?

I prefer video game systems because PC games never work on my computer. Besides I like playing video games with a controller on the tv anyway.

I really think there must be a way to hack this. isn't XBOX basically a Windows machine stripped down?

Yep, X-box is a Win type of box, except you can't upgrade anything.
I would get specs wrong from memory.
I had saved some info on hacking the X-box on a deceased computer. Though I might be able to read the drives.
I have never read of anyone making the games readable and playable on a Win box. It seems to me that a sophisticated emulator would do the trick.
For the enthusiast, I recommend googling "X-box" "Linux" and "fake boot" to get some info on how to try.
There was a challenge in the community to get an X-Box to boot Linux.
One of the abstracts I read had discovered a fake boot process to confuse those that would reverse engineer the machine.
Has anyone used a burner to make working copies of the game disk? If those efforts are frustrated, one could look at the format data on the DVD.

Lexy, you can usually find the game at Best Buy, Circuit City or even Amazon.com.
Toys R Us carries it as well. If you like the TOS this game is for you. It has mini series elements to it but stays strong to the original premis.

I found the game finally!!! I got it from the air base out here. Went shopping with my mom, retired military. I got a lot of weird looks by the GI's there. More so when I started talking gaming with them. But the kicker was when I busted out that I am part of the 501st. Gets them every time. ROFLMAO!!!!
But I for one would buy it if it comes to the computer.

I wonder if there's special modifications you can make to other games (like QuakeIII type games maybe) to use Galactica type bots, mods, skins and other 3d models. Anyone know of any?
