Letter Campaign, Part One: Deadline Tomorrow

TODAY is the set deadline to get your letters in the mail to Tom DeSanto and Glen Larson as part one of the letter writing campaign to communicate interest in a continuation movie.

I hope that many of you are encouraged by the announcements that came out of this past weekend's Galacticon.

These letters (pen-and-paper letters, please; email should only be used to supplement a pen-and-paper letter) should contain positive messages of support on behalf of the fandom for a continuation helmed by these two immensely talented men, who have demonstrated a clear understanding of what makes Battlestar Galactica special, and who have demonstrated a clear understanding of what fans expect from a true revival of our beloved show. Letters should be sent to the following addresses:

Vary your messages as you will, but let them know that we are behind them 110%, that there is no way the mini is going to shake our loyalty to, or desire for, a return to the original.

Do you have any idea how long it has been since I put "pen to paper"?
Ooooooooooohhhhhh, the pain!!!

At any rate, the letters are written and the envelopes are addressed. All that remains is to stamp them and drop them off at the post office in the morning.

Feels good to be flying a mission again!!

A warm, heartfelt thanks to all who have gotten their letters out, and an equally heartfelt plea to all those who haven't gotten them out to please get their letters in the mail TODAY, if possible, but most certainly by the end of the week.

And, send the most basic paragraph...

And if anyone is a member of a SciFi board where the information included in the first posting of this thread has not been posted, please feel free to cut and paste... and get the word out to the non-BSG community as well.

I wonder if the letters were well received. It certainly could make for a moral victory, to bolster the initiative of those individuals who seek to provide what the fans want.

Has anyone heard about any feedback from this campaign? If there's news about it I've missed it.
