Back from the weekend
Well guys and gals I am back from a relaxing weekend in Green Bay and a strange little place called New Holstein Wisconsin. I spent time with my daughter while my wife went to a bachelorette party and a bridal shower. Along the way I passed through Milwaukee twice and got to see some lovely Harley Davidson's on their way to mecca for the 100h anneversery parade.
I saw a community of people with a passion for a motorcycle brand. At every overpass there were banners with people waving at riders and festivities at every exit and dealership. It was awesome!!!
I thought about my new friends as I pick up my fan torch yet again for BSG. There are some good people here and other boards that love the show. it is fun to talk about memories and the DVD boxed se and video games. It is even fun to knock Hammer and company when it is light. It is a joy to talk about the novels and possible continuations and just be fans.
I did not see HD riders getting into it about Fat Boys vs Sportsters and obsessed with Yamaha's efforts to rename and reshape the street bike. I saw fans of a differnt product enjoying thier moment in the sun.
BSG is on 25 years! Can we celebrate? At this rate I am so frustrated with all the backbiting and whispering that I am debating buying a Harley and enoying the BSG video game and boxed DVD privately since it is getting difficult to share BSG with the fans.
This board is supposed ot be light. PLEASE....someone make me smile about being a fan of BSG. I want to enjoy it and relish it in our 25 year moment!!!
