See that, it's Ralph McQuarrie's take on the Battlestar Galactica poster image we are all familiar with, before all the costume designs were locked down.

How would you have felt watching people dressed like that in our fave show?

ya know... that helmet looks more like the mini's.

I think we have de-evolved from our BG.

We wouldn't have known any other way for them to dress, we would have accepted it and went on. Knowing now what the final costumes were, I am sure glad they changed them from that rough draft!
It is an interesting desgin for a base ship, but the helmet and Daggit had to go. Sure glad they didn't stay around.

VERY 'Thunderbirds' indeed Pete!

That version of the base ship ended up on the back cover of the novel. Thank the Lords of Kobol that John Dykstra and the gang at Apogee built those ships to look RIGHT!

Have you noticed though? EVEN the ROUGH draft of the
"Original" BSG movie is far far better then the FINISHED
cast poster of the "REMAKE". Everything has a place even
in the rough photo whereas ........in the FINISHED
"REMAKE" ............everything looks CHEAP and POSED and
unatural. If you'll notice on the "REMAKE" poster ........
NO ONE Looks their best and they certainly DO NOT look
happy to be there!
