Hey RP!
Thanks for another great song. Personally I think this is a bit of a hard one. But a fantastic attempt all the way. THis one might go above most here. Only becasue Rocky Horror Picture Show is a tough little musical to get into. But on a whole Horror Show has more entertainment value per minute than anything Moore ever wrote. And they claim that Horror Show is a flop. Richard O'Brien had been stuggling (and still is) trying to get his stuf heard. Said about his music:
His compositions in fact always seem contradictory. Though superficially masquerading as bizarre out n'out pieces they - structurally-speaking - fall well-within accepted time-honored parameters. And it is this strange coupling of the conventional and unconventional which makes O'Brien and his works appear so perplexing. They are at once very young and very old, very progressive and very antiquated, very risqué and very safe. They cannot fail to appeal. They cannot fail to offend.
So that song was a toughie one to try to translate into a fun parady, the original itself is a Tough one and it shows that you can take a challenging song and rip it apart put it back together again just to have a little fun.
Hey RP i have a litle ditty that sums up all of Moores work on BSG and it goes a LITTLE,....LIKE ,....THIS,...
"Plop Plop, Fiz Fiz, OH what-a-relief it IS!"
Boy that one was a toughie!
Laters!
