Let's put or faith in the Peter principle. That is Bonnie did well doing I think "Lifetime" a channel for women. So she was offered the job to redo The Scifi Channel, she has, but at the cost of quality science fiction. So it's time to promote Ms. Hammer?! I doubt this will work, she has it in the top ten now.

http://www.karlsweb.com and the depressing news about how well The Scifi Channel is doing in ratings. We can only hope the next President or owner of Scifi has an interest in showing first class science fiction, instead of Viva Roc Vegas.
Another bad bit of news, Showtime seems to have given up scifi on Friday night. The same with MPLEX on Thursday, seems to have forsaken Scifi in that time slot. The PLEX network does have channels dedicated to Westerns, Mystery and other genres. Why not science fiction?
