Cylon Alliance Down?
I can't find the Cylon Alliance. Two-Brain warned us it would go down to change servers. I guess it is today.
Gee - can I go a day, maybe even two - without Langy?
I guess I can struggle through......:p

OK, it's back up again, mere minutes after I post a carefully crafted, humerous bit.
Somebody, obviously, doesn't like my sense of humor.

Is CA down again?
I can access the homepage... but none of the other pages... including the boards.
Langy withdrawal, Dawg?
Dear God. I never knew I could feel such a thing!

Sandy... I'm still not getting anything except for the following:
This is the Plesk Server Administrator default page.
If you see this page it means:
1) hosting for this domain is not configured correctly
or
2) You are trying the IP number for a domain which is 'name base' hosted
or
3) Your hosting subscription has expired
For more information please contact your hosting administrator
I don't know whether it would make any difference that I'm on a Mac? I can't access the page using OS 9.2 with IE 5.0 (Macintosh Edition) or in OS X using Apple's Safari 1.0 Beta 2 (v74) which is my primary browser.

I haven't been able to access it all day. Neither the homepage or the boards.

I'm going to guess that the new IPs haven't propogated to all of the servers and the updates are still heading out to all parts of the Earth. When they switched servers, they also switched IPs. Sometimes that takes 24-48 hours for everything to update and catch up.

Ah.
Thank you, Two-Brain.
I will cease my panic.
As I am in the "backwoods" of Virginia, it might even take 72!

Funny - except for a couple of periods yesterday (the down time may have been just a few minutes each time), I have had no trouble accessing any part of the site. Must be I'm living right.
Turns out my first post was the waste of a good joke.
Langy withdrawal. Right.

Looks like it may take a few more hours, maybe a day, to propogate the new IPs to your ISP.
That's my best guess.
Man this moving servers things is a real pain!!!
Also, if anyone is smart on Frontpage, please contact me.

I am currently building a website using Front Page, it will be a month or two before it's published. But I have a feeling I only have a remedial understanding of Front Page. But I'll try to answer your question if you PM me.

Hi,
Well I can certainly vouch for Sandy's statement as well. Domain propagation is a bite in the astrum!! Regarding FrontPage, I splurged a hundred bucks on FrontPage 2000 before going with Macromedia DreamWeaver. The thing with DW is that it supports templates and library code. That way the layout of each web page can be identical, even when the content on each page is unique. FP supports themes, but it's very basic and also crucifies the source code of each page when themes are enabled.
Regards,
Nathan

I'm only marginally experienced with Frontpage. It annoyed me cause it kept trying to add code, like <p> and </p>, everywhere.
I program my code with Notepad Light. Its a very basic word editor. And freeware. Its ALOT of work to code. But it really allows you to do alot of neat tricks.

Hi,
Well FP 2000 has an option to "Preserve source code" in the advanced options menu. Previous versions don't...
