I was pondering this today...

So far, all the episodes that have taken place on a planet's surface are dark, like the planets don't get much sun. Was so much of the budget taken up by special effects that there was nothing left for lighting?

Yes, Flamingo Girl, your pondering has borne fruit.

It's much easier to hide background details in the darkness, so, yes, you'd be quite accurate.

From "Saga of a Star World" to "The Lost Warrior" to "The Living Legend"... Come to think of it, they did shoot daytime exteriors in Van Nuys, CA and Toronto, Canada for "Greetings from Earth." And we got that wonderfully funky, red tinted effect for "War of the Gods." (But "Experiment in Terra" was primarily shot at night...)

NO!!! IT'S A SECRET! NO ONE TELL!!!!!

Well, okay, since I like you.... when you go to add a signature, over on the left is a list of things, They say things like "html off" and "vB code on". If you click on the words "vB code" , all will be revealed to you.
Actually, you can do that in the thread, too. You just dont get a nifty box to type it in when you do your signature.

I wanted blue but red matched the crown on Uadjet's head. That's pronounced ooad-jet. She was a Cobra Goddess, Protector of Lower Egypt. Her wings look kinda funny with the picture so small. I think she looks like she's dancing -- a real Dancing Viper Queen.

The pale pink is nice, but the darker really stands out.

Yes, but since your screen color is made of light, and light is (darn, now I can't remember if it's additive or subtractive) but anywho: white light contains all the colors.....you're still typing in COLOR!
