Hello to all. I've been a member for a few weeks, posting in the forums, and I felt it was time to display some artwork. This is my first ever BSG work, I've mostly done Star Trek with a little Star Wars here and there. I wasn't sure exactly what the prerequisites were for BSG work as I haven't seen the show for a while, so I figured I couldn't go wrong with some Vipers, some planets and a few effects.
Since I have an old computer and the Viper mesh by H. Gibbons renders up quite quickly (and is a beautiful mesh) I chose it for my first piece. Everything is rendered in tS with a little work on the backdrop done in Universe. I converted this mesh myself from the original LW format as opposed to using the one already converted to tS because I wanted the textures.
I plan to do some more art after I convert a few more models for my use. (and decide exactly which Galactica I'm going to use
)
Update: I changed the image credits to spell H. Gibbens' name correctly.
