At the end of this scene there's a line where one of them has to say something about going "through the hatch". I think it took a few takes to hit that line.
Presure suits....Jean Pierre Dorleac showing a sense of humor. (the black horizontal bands look similar to the old black "censored" boxes from the '60s and '70s. Now why did the guys never actually wear these? (aside from the fact they were probably already baking in the uniform and jacket.)
