Default 'Serenity' seekers: What makes sci-fi fans go cosmic?

Hey all -

I saw this article in the Sacramento Bee today - It was about the last Serenity pre-screening in Roseville on May 26th that yours truly attended. I had always intended to review the film (without spoilers), but it got set on a back burner due to other things getting in the way.

Here's the article:

http://www.sacticket.com/static/movi...0serenity.html

There are some color pics of the audience and I am in one - I can see my head, but the pic is so small that I can just barely tell it's me. I guess that I could say that I got my picture in the paper! (It's the pic with Nathan Fillion talking to the audience).

I am attending another pre-screening for Serenity this Thursday - thanks to the generosity of the president of the Sacramento Browncoats. She had one extra ticket and she sold it to me even though I'd already seen it before. Another late night screening - sheesh! If one of the stars shows up like Nathan Fillion did last time, it'll be worth getting to bed at 1am again!

I'll review the film this time - I promise! You won't be disappointed.

Best to all,
Bryan

I'm looking for a spare ticket to buy for the Serenity screening this Thursday in Vancouver. I've read the FAQ, and cannot find any info on starting a new thread.

If anyone has a ticket they'd be willing to sell me, please r(asap)svp to:
aristotlejones@dccnet.com

Thanx ahead,

<*>aj
