Your Voting Rights and How to Protect Them
This article discusses
Quote:
The problems with America's voting system. In Florida, controversial new voting technology could create another vote-counting mess like that in the 2000 election. In the months leading up to the 2004 election, civil rights and civic organizations are coordinating their efforts to address Election Day irregularities and voting rights violations.

You really shouldn't be taking alternet seriously.

No one should take any news source completely seriously but it's good to listen to alternet views it gives balance, to your perspective because their are other views out there other than what CNN might tell everyone. Living in Canada we get a very different perspective we also get the BBC's perspective on the issues.

The last time I voted was in the last BC privincial election. I voted for the Marijuana Party (That is the name to an-honest-to-god political party) At least they were upfront and honest about their platform...

Here Here. Any election not settled by the supreme court or congress is better than one that is, regardless of who wins.

Those who don't vote have no right to complain about the way things are being done.

Actually, it turns out they have the same right to complain.
Some actually make a thoughtful choice about no voting, while perhaps others are lazy.
For myself, I vote for geeks with absolutely no chance of winning.
