I have a book about Burma Shave.
There was one story that really amused me, the verses went as follows:

Free! Free!
A trip to Mars
For only 800
empty jars of
Burma Shave

Well, there was this guy, who got help from neighbors and family etc, and actually collected 800 empty jars. He then contacted the company and handed them over, and they found a town somewhere named Mars, and gave him a free trip there.
