Mock Ronald D. Moore Resume
RONALD D. MOORE
2345 Hack Blvd,
North Hollywood, CA 90210
(310) 555-1212
Career Objective: To learn how to play the air guitar. And to possibly develop some writing skills.
EMPLOYMENT HISTORY
SCI-FI CHANNEL/USA 2002-PRESENT
Alleged Writer/Producer
Battlestar Galactica
Responsibilities:
Creator of the new Battlestar Galactica. Recently completed episode 2 of the new Galactica mini-series entitled: “Watching Paint Dry”. Don’t let the title fool you. I’ve personally watched paint dry and it’s pretty exciting stuff. Sky Blue number 40 is my favorite color by the way.
UPN NETWORK 1996-2002
Gofer/Writer
Star Trek- The Next Generation
Responsibilities:
Wrote various episodes. My scripts are easy to spot. If you’re yawning or hoping the villains kick the Federation’s ass – those are probably mine.
Star Trek –Deep Space Nine 1997-???
Responsibilities:
Nodded obediently to line producers and told them their ideas were not only great but utterly, utterly astonishing and profound. I proudly once told Star Trek-TNG producer Rick Berman his writing could cure cancer. I was promoted the same day. Need I say more?
AL’S DONUT AND COFFEE HUT 1992-????
Bag Boy
Responsibilities: See Job descriptions above.
SPECIAL SKILLS:
Breather of Oxygen.
Terrific speller.
Can say “watchamacallit” three times real fast
Special Note: I may not be Shakespear in the writing department but I bet he couldn’t write anything as emotionally powerful as the following:
“Inversing the phase flux could put a dent in the submatrix and allow photons to pierce the atomic spectrum.”
PS: I used that line to pick up chicks in the Paramount cafeteria AND IT WORKS.
