Thumbs up Supporting Mr Hatch

I just wanted to say how much sense it makes for a Battlestar galactica Forum to support those who brought the original show to life. That includes Richard Hatch who has been the main force behind the revival effort ( before the french corporation Vivendi-Universal stole it and shipped it off to Canada)

He has given alot to our lives by beiing Apollo. And lighting the revival fires at great personal cost. He has spent much of his life, his money, and his time to give us a revival. And We do REALLY appreciate that.

Also, when it comes down to it... even a great show like Battlestar Galactica is still just a show. And Richard Hatch is a an who has bought much enjoyment into my childhood living room.

Some people may not like his choice of guests at Galacticon, I don't blame you, i see your point. But...Richard Hatch is still "the Man".

If he had been given a chance to get The Second Coming into production as a series, I would've supported it. I've read the last two of his novels and I look forward to getting my paws on his next one. He had the right idea. He rememinds of someone I know who gets an idea in his head and he goes with it, regardless of what others think even if he ruffles a few feathers along the way.

Can't wait to see The Second Coming for the first time and hurl Tomacco at Ron Moore during Galacticon 2003...thank you Mr. Hatch.

Thumbs up Hatch Is A HERO

I saw the other thread and was horrified, truly horrified. Here is a man who used his own PERSONAL finances to try and revive Galactica in a proper way. On top of that he is GIVING the fans a VOICE that can be matched to their faces at Galacticon. Don't be afraid to ask the hard questions.

In Seattle, Paul Allen is planning on opening a sci-fi museum. I'm hoping that when and if it actually does open, Mr. Allen will invite Richard to come up and show The Second Coming trailer. This would be the perfect venue for it.
