Default did anyone see Matrix Revolutions yet?

Just wondered what you thought if you had.

I'm hoping to get a babysitter so we can go this weekend.

Default I liked it. Spoilers following

In my opinion it's Dune Messiah without all of the sand and no Dune babies. Neo became Paul Muad' Dib. I couldn't stop the comparisons. The parallel events just keep coming in the Neo part of the story.
The invasion of Zion was way impressive. Be prepared to be wowed at that whole section of the movie.
They could have done better, but it was worth it for the Sentinels invasion of Zion.

Julie -

I just got an e-mail saying that "Revolutions" is coming to Imax on the 26th. I will wait until then to see it. I saw SW:Episode 2 in Imax format and it totally rocks! I can't wait....

I liked it better than the second one. I only yawned once from the dragging and repeatious fight scenes. *L*

Sorry... I felt all three films would have benefited from less FX and more plot development...

Actually the problem was that they had too much. Remember all the exposition in the second movie? Half of it was just babbling and attempted plot development, but with so many very different ideas being crammed in to to the film it's no wonder some people got a bit confused. Personally, I think Reloaded would have benefitted from having a more distinct conclusion and loosing one of the fight scenes... probably the one with Seraph, although that had a point to it. Some things needed explaining, but in the end, it's best if some things remain unexplained. If you explain absolutely everything you leave nothing to the imagination, which ultimately is far less satisfying.

You need to see Reloaded and Revolutions as a single very long film in order to get the proper impact. It flows a lot better that way.

I loved it. There were some things very right about it.
