I just got this email from Johnnie Young, producer of the movie. If you haven't seen it, set your vcrs.

"Unseen Evil" is currently airing on Showtime Beyond -- Showtime's new sci-fi, horror, fantasy channel. I don't seem to get this channel, but maybe some of you do.

An archaeology field trip goes horribly, gruesomely awry in this horror opus starring Richard Hatch ("Battlestar: Galactica") as Dr. Peter Jensen, a specialist in Native American artifacts who betrays his students during a research dig by stealing ancient burial ground relics to sell on the black market. Peter doesn't count on the vengefully protective, invisible spirit that's summoned by a legendary curse, however - a fatal miscalculation that leads to a generous amount of bloodshed. Tim Thomerson and Cindy Pena costar.

Hey!

Here's my death scene at the hands of Babylon 5's Jason Carter. In this clip, I keyed it over the Vasquez Rocks, recognizable as the spot where Kirk fought the Gorn.... hehehehe....

In the finished trailer for GWoM, it will be keyed over a dark, cloudy, sky when last I saw it. Things may have changed since I moved back to Texas nearly a year ago. I'm as anxious as you all to see the GWoM trailer, hopefully at the BSG con in October, but I still don't know if I can go or not.

PS Here's a collage of images from my original Demonslayers movie and a 3d animated test I did for it in 1997. I'm currently doing a special edition of my Demonslayers film, and building a whole new series of 3d character models for stunt doubles. I'm going into full production on a 20 minute short film prequel, simultaneously doing a trailer and key scenes for my new Demonslayers film. For real. This time, it's happening, and is in production NOW.

I didn't have to join SAG for that gig. It was 29 takes of one battle. Richard made me do it 29 times because I was dying on the pavement and he was being sadistic... LOL.

BTW, I did about 9 keys of Marjorie Monahan for the trailer, among many others.

Ken,

I caught a few minutes of it last night, when they were approaching and leaving the ranger station. Unfortunately, my wife, our son, and Microsoft (patches! yuck!) had other ideas, so I didn't get to see any of the special effects. I'll try again later.

One other thing: They have your bio, but you need to submit your picture over at

Another Showtime note:

I caught a few minutes of Dirk Benedict in "Body Slam" on one of the Showtime channels on Wednesday night. I was busy and couldn't even sit down, but it played for a few minutes as I kept passing back and forth through the room. Then my wife came in and found the remote control....
