Reply Re: Check out Havoc's Greeting at CF Stormtroopers is right. They are like a bunch of mindless zombies ordered to kill opposition on sight. They can't grow the fandom with such a narrow vision of what a Galactica fan is. Even on the Trek forums we have disagreements but we don't gang up on person or group. Their is this thing called decency for godsakes.
Or here's one that really gave me a case of warm fuzzies.

I'm so happy to have myself analyzed by these wonderful enlightened beings. I would have had to pay a shrink thousands of dollars to learn these amazing facts. A mindless zombie, a brutish thug - and to think I may not have learned about this hidden side of myself at all except for the decency of these grand open-minded human beings. That's really immature and truly offensive. And it's coming from someone intelligent enough to misspell "Captain" within their handle ("Captian James Kirk") and make some incredulous accusations. That individual wouldn't be able to look me in the eye and say that, given the chance. It's cowardice behind the keyboard.
I visited the ezboard.com/bgalactica2003 bboard for the second time in my life tonight after seeing this posting. I'm reminded why there's little reason to visit or participate. The numerous negative diatribes, the insistence of branding people as "neos" or "retros", the name-calling... What a sad place, overshadowing some of the positive individuals there who contribute good discussions.
I guess some of these folks still believe Ron Moore is a vital part of the current production, too. Their upcoming wake-up call ought to be most interesting...

I'm Deplorable, even more so than those making those comments.

The only trouble a Mindless Zombie like me is having with this is figuring out why it's worse to tell those insulted what's being said, than it is for those saying it...
I think you need to take me in for Re-Programming Master, as I am having difficulty understanding this. Maybe well need to up my voltage this time...

That BSGBH is just lookin to restart a war betwen the Galactica fans and Moore fans. The best thing is to ignore that person. This board may be "evil", but if someone here goes insulting others that way we know for shure the mods will put a stop to it.
But there's good people there like BlueSpringsBelle and KaraTrace. From what i've seen they look neutral, capable of interaction with fans of both sides.
I gess they got their equivalent to Languatron  |

Heir Fuhrer is really kinda tame considering the fact that the folks involved with the new galactica production have been refered to as the axis of evil and so forth on here.
I am sure there has been more colorful metafors used on the SF board if it is as bad as people keep sayin.

Hito, I think compairing anyone to Hitler is not exactly tame.
To often, comments like that are waved off. Michael is a Friend, and I'll not sit by and have a Friend compaired to Hitler.
Mind you, the rest of us were referred to as Brutish Thugs (hense the new Brutish Thugs Squadron. BTW, Anyone want to help come up with a Squadron Insignia for this new Squadron) Mindless Zombies (I really liked that one actually. It brought this phrase to mind "Pot, Meet Kettle") and other sorts of fun.
Frankly, I'm getting tired of this "Moral high Ground" thing that keeps getting used on us, and this Denial thing they have going after these little outbursts.
Well, this time, I wanted to call them on it.
