Battlestar Galactica 1978 Comment Thread for "The Return" by Gin Rummy

The story is here: The Return

I called it "rip-roaring" and I meant it. The first three chapters only whet your appetite for what's coming, I'm sure.

I'm looking forward to reading what everyone else thinks as well, so sound off here!

So far, so good, Gin. Keep it coming!

At a quick glance, it reads like a story as professionally (if not more so) written as any good published novel I've ever read. I will read it in its entirety at my first opportunity.

This could be perfect fodder for a TV film.
My only critique is that, after 10 yahrens and more, the new city should be further along. I mean there should be more buildings not made from cut-up ship's hulls. Brick kilns and steel mills.
Just a thought.
