Hey guys, do you know what format is Coxxon's fleet of the reimagined BSG ships?

Yeah, they are all .3ds and the textuers are UV mapped. I am uploading the conversions to .blend native (packed with the textures) right now to blendergalactica.com. They'll be available when I launch the redesigned fleet this afternoon. You'll have to register at the new site to gain access to the downloads.

Yeah, I hear complaints that they are "Low-Poly", but for fast moving shots with a lot of objects, they keep the render times down and the quality is more than fair. They might not look the best close up, but sometimes you have to balance quality against production times.

right now I'm running a simulation in blender between 3 raiders and 3 vipers with swarm script to see what happens. I'm hoping this will inject some AI into the scene for large battles.

I use Vue 3.1 (yeah, I know its a shocking program but its the only one I have) to animate my 3d models. Vue uses 3ds models best. Coxxon's fleet is in 3ds format, has low polygons but looks FRAKKING Awesome!!!!!!! I am definitely downloading this fleet!!!!
