Should Starbuck be a boy, or a girl
I think more than two choices are needed for this poll.

I think the intent is good humor.
As long as we don't have Bishop complaining about too many polls.

Actually I'm half serious. The last one is how I feel.

I agree...
I voted already and I already put my comments in the original thread. I just took the poll as a lark. It's not like they're gonna fire Katee and hire a male actor to replace her...
By the way, I only voted once!
Best,
Bryan

I was turn between boy and the last option. But I'm still stronged feeling that Starbuck will always be a boy, or is that a man. Crushes are not so easy to control.

I think Starbuck was meant to be a sailing man seeking the great white whale.

I missed the earlier threads, so I voted for Starbuck as a guy. Of course, Ms. Sackhoff reminds me of a guy, too, so I'll qualify that vote as Dirk.

Antelope walked into the kitchen. He hoped to find some yummy stew on the stove. All he found in the kitchen was someone stirring the pot.
Antelope went down the street to the restaurant.

No, with all due respect, Starbuck should be as his creator made him.

Starbuck should be a character, the sex really doesn't matter. I'm a diehard fan of the new show, but I'm not overly impressed by our new Starbuck, she needs to have a chat with Dirk Benedict.

And the creator said after looking at the mold he made for Starbuck:
"Starbuck shall be a man! Let no one change him lest he suffer my wrath!"

She did in a Starbuck's coffehouse.....and he stoled the show.....blew her away with his personality and she literally couldn't keep up and didn't know what to do!

Here's an idea, make Starbuck androgynous, or beter yet, a she-male That would end the confusion.
(Just goofin', guys and gals.)

Well it's official, 68% prefer Starbuck as a male.
Now that leads into the question, how well do you think Katee will do as a guy?

Rename Tyrol to Starbuck.
Starbuck to Sheba.
Boomer to Athena.
It won't fix everything but things wouldn't look so bad.

When I heard tell of the new series and about Starbuck being a woman, I hoped that maybe this new show was a continuation of the old, and that the woman in question was perhaps the daughter of the original Starbuck.
Then I watched the pilot and man were my vain hopes crushed!
Give me Dirk any day! Starbuck should stay as he was originaly created.
I was not overly impressed with the new Apollo either. If anything, I think they made a genuine (insert expletive here) out of the original charater.

The charm sort of knocked her off balance, didn't it? Then again, who could blame her!
