Default OT-Farscape Finale: ARRRRRGH!!!!!!!!

AND I'm not even A FAN!!!!!

Someone tell Ms. Hammer she screwed up royally!!!

And the "thanks card" at the end. Grrrrrrrrrr. I watched my last SciFi tonight if the BSG mini is not restored to something honoring the original. At least until someone has the wisdom to show Ms. Hammer the door, permanently.

Nothing like stopping right in the middle of something. Ohhhh that hurt! Wonderful acting: entire cast was outstanding tonight. Story excellent. Ending: Aaaaaargh!

I believe that fan site was savefarscape.com anyone care to confirm that?

Anyone started begging the Henson folks for a movie???

Default Jaw-dropping ending

I was a bit confused at the ending before I realised that when this episode was filmed, there was still the assumption that there'd be another season. I hope the fans of Farscape are successful in their bid to get closure of their series. They certainly seem to have enough enthusiasm for it. And, from what I witnessed, it's an amazing show.

I take it the U.S. audience got to see it now? What piss off alot of people everywhere was the TO BE CONTINUED what a slap in the face knowing they ain't gonna do it though.

Sci-fi wake up before people leave you....you're suppose to keep them not make em leave? Great, great school school of Television programming you all came from kick hammer out the door and do some real programming soon, before you all lose your customers over there and here?

I watched the early broadcast this afternoon.

At least Moya and crew have a chance to return. But, damn, what a blow...

Indeed, go to SaveFarscape.com. FS fans have helped BG fans when we've called upon them. I've followed the help instructions over there more than once. This show does deserve to be saved -- hopefully on another network which gives a damn about the show.

Default Michael...

Yeah, if they can find a Network Exec who doesn't need a Heart,
A Writer who doesn't need a Brain,
And a Studio head that doesn't need some nerve...

Well, I guess that leaves Scifi off the list...

Default Did I Just See Farscape's "Hand of God"

I just got on board with Farscape a few weeks back...you know one of those many times when us Battlestar Fans we're against the wall. Some Scapers came by to help so I checked out the show and signed the petition. Dang, so much I don't understand and I was really starting to get in to it, don't get me started on Gigi Edgley...WOW!

That "thank you Sci-Fi for screwings us" note at the end got me thinking about the "to be continued" text. Don't know how many of you've seen this.

Hopefully their Continuation won't be as frelled up as ours...did I say that right?

Well.... the ending was great until they were blown to bits!

Ya know, this wasn't the first time a series has ended like this on scifi. When Sliders had their finale, the cast finally reached home, only to discover a new great menace at the very end. The show ended off with the cast split, one guy slid on his own seperate from the others. So you were left hanging as to what happened to him.

Frankly... SciFi should have axed the last scene before the space fightercraft showed up. That would have given the show a decent ending.

SciFi Channel has screwed the fans again!

Thank you French Vivendi.....

I thought it was great that they kept it. Kemper and O'Bannon could have easily cut it and ended the show with the boat scene but they said they would not compromise what they made and they believe enough in their product to have faith that it will live again. It was their way of saying that scifi channel may call it a series finally but they aren't.

Default True, I guess

...But it still seems like a rather ruthless slap in the face toward the Farscape fans who have been working so hard to keep it going.

I kind of saw it as an "in your face rallying cry" to the fans: the producers haven't given up. They caught our motto I suppose: Never surrender, Never give up!

Ms. Hammer's "thank you" on the end just made my blood boil though. Ruthless is the kindest word I can think of for it. I was furious enough all I could see was Garfield style swearing (you know: thought bubble with nothing but a very dark, highly-energetic, criss-crossing scribble...).

I didn't take it as a slap in the face, I think changing the ending after it was already shot to prematurely end the series would have been a slap. Or even ending it with them being "neutralized" and not saying "to be continued" would have been worse, then you would think of them as dead instead of whatever state they are in.
