Help! Identify this ship??
Hey folks,
Can anyone help identify this ship?
http://www.rpf.invisionzone.com/inde...howtopic=99619
It MIGHT be a Galactica fleet ship or it MIGHT be a Buck Rogers ship or it MIGHT be a hundred other things.
Anybody positively ID it?

Hmmm......
Where did you find it? Are there any manufacturer markings or a date? What material is it made of?

It is a compsite. Wood, model bits, plastic, etc.
I'm identifying it for a seller. There are no markings.

Looks like only a part of a model, as in it's not complete.
I'd venture it looks Buck Rogers-ish, like the folks in that link said.

New Help Needed!!!!!
Hi All,
I'm wondering if anyone knows what the name of the old fighters used at the Proteus Colony("Long Patrol") were? I can't remember it for the life of me, and I need it for "Fields".....

I have just been able to pick up the fact that it is referred to as a "sixth millenium" fighter of Colonial design....no actual name given as to the model. I have also found that Starbuck's souped up viper in The Long Patrol is called a 'starchaser.'

Yes, it is indeed the remains of Ardala's shuttle from Buck Rogers in the 25th Century which was later modified for the Space Vampire ep, so that the front section could detach.

In deference to the original novelization, I always referred to the 6 millennium fighter as a "starhound".

You know, that name was in the back of my mind, but I thought it referred to the Viper...Consider it changed!

The book pasage was something like:
"The Galactica was as swift as the starhound fighters she launched from her bays"
I liked the name, but knew that the ships we saw on the show were called Vipers, so I figured that the name was valid, it might just be an older version of the Viper.
