Default Is this the place for a ST:TNG / BSG crossover fanfic?

I have a fanfic story called "ARRIVAL" that I'd like to post. Do you DO that sort of thing? Or would I be tarred and feathered for that?

It depends.

(We had already ordered the tar and feathers.)

On a serious note, startrek76,

Welcome you to Colonial Fleets!

Regarding the fanfic story, I would need a few details.

We are posting stories, related to the Original Battlestar Galactica (TOS), in the Colonial Library. The story may be wholly within the TOS universe or may be a cross-over story, as you'll see with the Battlestar Galactica / Planet of the Apes cross-over story by Eric Paddon.

Star Trek Arrival

Ok, in a nutshell. {First off, neither BGS nor TNG are completely cannon in this story.}
Galactica {with Loren Green in command} has been joined by Cmdr Cain and the Pegasus. Somehow Cain and his skeleton crew managed to get out of the Cylon trap. It's five yarens later, the fleet has moved a considerable distance up the Orion arm of the Milky Way. But the Cylons are still in hot persuit. For each Cylon Raider Starbuck, Appolo, Sheba and the others destroy, it seems Imperious Leader is able to send three more to fill the gap. The fleet has added six "gunstars" which are small, ultrafast and virtually nothing but an engine and a weapons pod. They are bigger than a viper, but able to land on the flight deck.
As the story opens, Cain has just fought two basestars to a standstill and attracted the attention of a third, with Baltar on board.
{switch POV}
Captain Jean Luc Picard of the NCC1701D {it's in the first year of Enterprise's mission} has been tasked with testing a new multi-channel sensor and target aquision array. There are two other Starfleet ships [a Yeager-class frigate and an Intrepid-class] joining him. While testing the array, they will wave the Federation Flag in a combined war game against Comodore Kevar, who commands a four ship task force {a Vortcha-class, a D-7 (TOS) cruiser, and two K-42 Warbirds}.
Both groups detect the unmistakable subspace ripples of FTL drives and heavy weapons fire.
The volume of space they are in is considered to be strategic to both the Federation and the Klingons, so Picard and Kevar go to investigate. They find Galactica, Pegasus and the six gunstars fighting three Cylon basestars.

That's basically the intro to the story. The body of the story is what happens next? Will Picard say the Prime Directive forbids them to do anything? Will Kevar say the Prime Directive is bantha s--- as far as he is concerned? Will the Cylons really care, or will they simply repeat "their" Prime Directive: "Death to all humans."

startrek76,

Do you have the stories broken down into chapters?

If so, how many?

Battlestar Galactica 2004

Well -- er -- ah -- umm...
Not exactley. It's really all one big chapter. But there are break-points where we switch from looking at things through the Colonial Republic's eyes to the Federation's eyes. As for the total file size ... it's about 150k. I think it will break into 10 to 15 chapters all about 12k in length.
More if you let me post JPGs to go with it.
