Regarding that "Reboot"
https://variety.com/2024/tv/news/bat...ck-1236091898/
It ain't happening. I have seen other reports that say it was being shopped around. Here we are, more than a half year later, and still nothing.
If anyone has more recent news, please post it.

Re: Regarding that "Reboot"
I gave up quite a while ago. So much potential lost.

Re: Regarding that "Reboot"
That's the latest I have heard too. Really didn't want another "Reboot" of the "reboot".

Re: Regarding that "Reboot"
Every time I heard rumors about another "reboot" it struck me as funny how those who might be responsible for it coming about always seemed to think they should get the validation or blessing of Mr. RDM. Even to the point where RDM is referred to dishonestly as the "Creator" of Battlestar Galactica. That RDM openly encouraged this over and over is ultimate comment on his ego and his shameless dishonesty.

Yes, RDM's ego is as large as a Death Star! Most forget that RDM (along with Berman and Braga) were, IMO, responsible for killing off Kirk in ST:Generations.
Absolutely no shame on messing up ANY franchise legacy he touches.
To him, they are all properties he feels only HE can make better by destroying what came before. A disrespectful, arrogant, no talent, two-bit hack, IMHO!
Just my .02 cubits...

Yeah, look at the hatchet job they did to ST: Enterprise! They totally messed up what was a good series! I was very perturbed when they killed Trip off early in the last episode and brought in people unrelated to the particular show!
