Mr. Magoo and Help Me for Christmas

Hi all! Two things. One, for you oldies like me, the beloved holiday favorite "Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol" is now available on DVD! And only $12 at Amazon to boot. I have been wanting to share this with my daughter for ages, and this year I finally get the chance. (Last year I tried hard to get it but it was sold out EVERYWHERE. Guess I'm not the only one that gets reminded of it at Christmas time).

Other thing is this: I have 2 nephews, 14 and 16 I think, and for the life of me I can't think of anything to get them this year. They have every video game system and cartridge known to man and then some. I was hoping to keep their presents under $20 each. Can anybody help me out with an idea or two???

I know it may not seem very "personal" but my kids adore getting gift certificates for Wal-mart or Barnes & Noble or whatever their currently favorite shopping place is. They can use them to get something "right now"... or can hold them until those wonderful after-Christmas sales where $20 is more like $35.

One year they wound up with almost $100 a piece from various stores. They were thrilled.

Yeah, My neice was thrilled the year I gave her a GC to walmart, more so than when I gave her a copy of The Sims last year.

yea 14-16 is good to give gc's. they love getting to go and shop and get what they want. my nieces and nephews get gift cards.

To all: Sounds like gift certificate is the way to go - now I gotta figure which store - will have to be one which allows purchase of same over Internet as we have about 2 stores total in our town. Luckily, my nephews live in a big city so I'm sure whatever I get they will have in their town.
