shiningstar I know what that feels like I'm starting week four of the coughing and hacking crap. codein will help a lot to relax the bronchial air ways and stop the coughing. like 222's or tylenol 1's, 2's or 3's...then you can get a break from it and get some uninterupted sleep, and don't end up with aching chest muscles! take care of yourself

Skipper wouldn't be interested in running off with Ken. She's had three boyfriends of her own: Ricky, Scott and Kevin.
I warned you people that I know too much about Barbie dolls!

I remember Poindexter from the 50's. Such a goofy name! We had the Barbie Prom game, and you were always afraid Poindexter would win her hand for the date!
Don't know if they ever made the doll...

poindexter
Actually, Barbie might have had better luck with a boy named Poindexter. Somebody with that name would have become the head of his own computer corporation and would have more money than Bill Gates.
By the way, in most of the novels that have been written about Barbie, Ken has always been an architect. Good money, but not as much as Poindexter!

when the boy dolls were sold
Ricky was sold in 1965 and 1966.
Scott was sold only in 1980.
Different Kevin dolls were available between 1991 and 1995. Basketball Kevin, the one pictured, is the best looking of the bunch.

Goodness, I'd hate to see the other models! I'll stick with Ken, thanks. And now that he's single... California is a community property state, so he must have snagged half of Barbie's things. I'd like a couple of horses and some cars and some...
