Default Master Replicas Gets 'BSG' License

Master Replicas has informed ICv2 that it has acquired the license to produce weapons, helmets and scale ships based on both the classic and the new television series. The first Battlestar Galactica items from Master Replicas should be available in the summer of 2007.

A Master Replicas spokesman told ICv2 that the company's Battlestar Galactica product line would be similar in nature and scope to what the company produced under its Star Wars license.

Peter -

This is good news! So, I've got a year, eh? That'll give me time to clear my credit card well before then.

I'm looking forward to this!

Bryan

So... for classic items we can basically expect helmets in white and in tan with both Galactica and Pegasus crests, laser pistols in black and white versions (with matching, but seperately available gunbelts with grenades and possibly a scanner).

What else do we think?

I can't imagine they'd go so far as to even get near the obscure stuff I've been making. Frankly, the most I've sold of any one item is about 30 copies. LOL.

But it's a labor of LOVE!

Well, props have been pretty much covered, but the ships I think would be the big sellers...
