I work with someone who is French and we had to call Canada once. He spoke very loudly and clearly into the phone, "Hello. Does anyone speak English?" The reply? "This is Toronto, we all speak English."
Good night!

Hey folks,
Sorry for the delay, my family and I were out of town this past weekend. (Rowan and Uno were probably 'cussing at me' in French -- I wouldn't know the difference!! LOL )
Now, without further adieu, the answer to the quote is
http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0040897/
"The Treasure of the Sierra Madre".
Next one:
(and this is an easy one.)
Quote:
"Of all the souls I've met in my travels, his was the most.....human."

I think I'm going to have an "Oh, yeah!" reaction when I hear the answer, but I cannot place it for the life of me.

That would be Gladiator.
Here is mine:
(the question was "What have you been doing since then?"
"I run for President. Didn't win, though"

Aparently I picked either a) a movie only I like well enough to know dialouge from or b) a thread that no one else cares about.
So before I give up, I will give a quick hint (not real easy yet)
The movie is less then 15 years old and the speaker of the line won Best Supporting Actor for his role

Well, I am checking this thread frequently, so it's not that. But I sure don't know what movie this is from.

Malcolm X? Training Day? I haven't seen either, so I am guessing wildly here. The suspense is killing me!

Sorry unowhoandwhy - its neither of those films is it. Rowans hint (I thought) pretty much gave it away, but I will add one more to it :
A current star of The Stepford Wives was also in the movie (in the "leading role" according to Hollywood... go figure)

Well, if it's going to be a plain old guessing game, I'll take a whack. I think that "White Men Can't Jump" didn't have Denzel in it, so I am going to go with "You Got Game." Which I think had Denzel. If that ain't it, then God did make little green apples. . .
