Beaverstar Galactica!
(This reprint especially for Shiningstar who has kindly been asking for some more beaver jokes!)
Beaverstar Galactica, Ep. 1
===========================
<Scene: BSG stars aboard Galactica bridge, quarrelling as usual...>
Edema: Ever since we discovered there are BEAVERS inside those Cylon suits, we've been on the run! They've been laying their eggs EVERYWHERE. Soon they'll have the whole quadrant - er sectant -er micrant...
Apollo: Father, beavers don't lay eggs.
Edema: Shhh! It's a vital plot twist! Plot twists don't have to make sense! Hey, how are the Aspens doing on the Agro ships?
Apollo: They're growing fine. Soon we will have a trap for the Cylon-beavers. Then we can just "leave it to beaver" <grins>
Edema: That's not funny. I think you should Apollo-gise. Get it? Hehehe...
Apollo: <Not amused> At least I'm not named after a disease.
Col. Bow-Tie: Something on sensors - an unauthorized Viper has launched.
Edema: That would be Star-bark. Beam him back immediately!
Col. Bow-Tie: Uh, sir, we don't have a transporter. You're confusing us with that other show.
Edema: Heck with the show, I'm starving! When do we eat?
Rigel: LUNCH WHEN READY!!!
Apollo: Everybody's a comedian...
<Dam-shaped base ships loom on the horizon, only penny-ons away - er, nickel-ons - er, two bits...>

Another golden oldie...
What's REALLY Inside a Cylon
-----------------------------------
Beavers. Yes, beavers. Ancient beavers migrated from Beavaria thousands of yahren ago to Cylon. (African beavers of course; European beavers are non-migratory).
Descended from dinosaurs like the deadly parakeet, they quickly became the dominant species of their time. There were few if any trees millions of yahren ago, and ferns make poor dams, so they quickly learned to cut down the mighty Brontosaurus. Lying in wait in streams, the ferocious beaversaurus would wait for a Bronto to straddle the stream, then quickly gnawed its legs off. This made a perfect dam. It would then gnaw out its insides and make its home in the Bronto's thorax.
Cylon beavers today wear helmets to hide their nasty, pointy teeth. The roving red eye is actually a retinal diagnostic tool that saves beaver optometrists lots of time with check-ups. They hate humans because we compete with them by building our own dams, and in our language are frequently dam-ing everything.
The Cylons wear those trendy skirts to hide their unsightly tail, which comes in handy for swatting rump flies, and as a fan to cool their hot chrome butts.

awwwww! I just checked this thread!
I hope you feel better soon!!!!
if a horde of cylons can't keep a muffit down, a nasty little teeny tiny virus can't either! At least not for long.
Nasty little sneak attack, ambush perlharbor like critters.
