I decided to revisit a poorly done Cylon I did some time ago and try to get it a little closer to the original. (click the renderosity link above)
This is the work in progress, and I thought I'd put it out there for some feedback, and just to share.
The backpack is definately incorrect, and I took a few liberties with the non chrome parts to make them a little more mechanical.

Now there's something that i need to revisit myself. I got pretty close i thought but again it's been a long time since i played with my cylon.

i think that you should start off with the idea that this is a guy in a suit.
Firtst make the guy (or begin with a poser figure)
then add the armor to fit him.

Anyone interested
in taking a stab at making a Cylon attack hound? I always wanted to see a Cylon style robotic attack dog, with the red roving eye and all. After all the colonials had their mechanical daggits...
