Default To Don and Micheleh and Jewels and everyone else here!

To Don, Micheleh, Jewels and everyone at CF:

It's obvious that dissent and a lot of crud has been thrown at you, and that it hasn't been pleasant.

Before you decide to pack it all in and walk away, please consider the following:

This place has been a sanctuary and focal point for information about BSG;

It has been a beacon of hope for lovers of BSG and for those who hope for a continuation, faithful to a show we hold close to our hearts;

It has been a bastion against the trolls and Hammerites who want to destroy BSG and all it stands for.

You are not alone. There are lurkers and less prolific posters who are resolute in standing behind you who keep the continuation light burning.

Don't let Evil be triumphant.

You are a rallying point for The Dream.

Please don't let The Dream die.

I would like to chime in and say how much I appreciate the fact that Colonial Fleets exists. Don has created a great environment for BSG fans to assemble. I think that most of us don't really understand what it takes both in money and time to keep it going and try and keep it fun for everyone.

I'm sticking it out for as long as CF is around...

Be well people,
Bryan

Thank you Corwwyn for your post, and it's good to see you here!

I just can't believe the "soap opera" of this fanbase. As I posted in CA, I don't know what has happened, as all the bullcrap that I stumble on when I come into the forums once a week now if that often is so freaking embarassing.

Keep CF going. Some fans still like having a place to go to to discuss Galactica (I enjoy CA as well).

I used to be a lot more passionate about Galactica TODAY before all of this crap; this crap has pushed me away from the fanbase more than Moore ever did, or could. I don't blame anyone for cashing in their chips, as I couldn't put up with any crap such as what I've seen (and I've really got no idea what has happened recently, only that fans are battling fans, and it makes me sick).

Remember Radar telling Hawkeye and BJ that it made him sick to see them fight? It was only fake fighting, a birthday present for Frank. I wish that was the case here, because I'm downright sick and embarassed.

Very well said, Corwwyn!

This place IS a sanctuary and a beacon of hope!
My hopes and prayers are that it continues to be!

Newt,

I remember that episode. Very good one at that. BJ and Hawkeye ALWAYS tormented the daylights out of "old ferret face"!!

You are so right Corrwyn(!) There is no place on the net like CF. The best way to show our love and devotion is to keep the flame burning!

And here is where it burns most brightly.

Colonial Fleets has been instrumental in keeping "The Dream" alive. There's a real reason why CF has existed, and there have been real positive outcomes from CF's existance. Now is not the time to think of pulling back. Galactica is coming back in a few months; that is a fact. How we all collectively and individually deal with that will define, finally, the future of the franchise.
