If you are looking for something to watch on Tuesday, then go no farther than NCIS!

NCIS is a action drama created by Don Belisario who was a senior writer on the original Battlestar Galactica. Heh also created Magnum, PI, Airwolf, Quantum Leap and JAG. NCIS is similiar to JAG but more serious. But it still features likable characters and heroes catching the bad guys. Previous episodes involved a Presidential assasignation plot, Al Qaeda, and the mysterious deaths of military personel.

If you like JAG, you will like this. If you liked the original Battlestar Galactica you will probably like this.

Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibb.
The hardass leader. He insists the second "B" in his last name stands for "bastard". A tough former marine who pursues his prey regardless of the rules. If he has to break a law to catch a thief, he will. He is a good man you can depend on. But do not get him pissed at you!

Special Agent Kate Todd
Smart, Witty, Short, pretty and can assemble and disassemble a gun blindfolded. What more can a guy ask for?! Former Secret Service Agent guarding the President before joining NCIS

Special Agent Tony DiNozzo
Bit of a ladies man...in his own mind. He's been on NCIS for awhile, but Gibb still scares him! And his immaturity drives Kate batty!

Abby
The Goth technical wizard. She likes dead things and is one heck of a hacker!

Donald "Ducky" Mallard
The forensic examinaer with a babbling penchant for stories.

no picking on country music please. I happen to listen to it. Yes with Jag already a proven hit so will NCIS be.

Gibbs and Todd are such assholes I couldn't stick with it. The doctor who talks to stiffs was a nice touch, though.

awwww... I actually like Gibb and Todd!!

Though I think Gibb needs a few episodes to get into. He's very very hardcore. But he's a very good man. I think he relates to people who are frustrated with red tape that get in the way of common sense. And govermental policies that get in the way of justice and security. He's 100% devoted to justice and security, to the extreme where he has no other skills, like charisma or socializing.

DiNozzo is the putz that everyone likes making fun of. And he deserves every jibe!

I have to agree with you there. Ducky and Abby are cool as well.
