Its a spoof. But HCL is colorless and relativley odorless. It will eat your face off. IOts an acid.

Rubidium and cesium are not stuff you play around with. Here's why!
Alkali metals can kill you.

More Easter fun. Again NO KIDS!
There is no such things as safe chemistry with dry ice or kitchen detergents.

Polymers-(elastic plastics-what you are made out of)
Any questions? Kids can make this under supervision.

And one more.
Dangerous. Some kids have attempted this in themselves.
Pay close attention. Menthos and coke inside of you is a guaranteed funeral. You don't burst like a balloon, but you will rupture something internally and you will DIE.

Remember the bungled inverted flask experiment? This is the same thing done right!

What does static electricity have to do with chemistry?
Well all chemistry is electromagnetic!

Re: Chemistry experiments.
The answer is surface tension or the coulomb force in water. Its that same thing I've been showing you these past experiments.

Re: Chemistry experiments.
And what does this have to do with chemistry? Coulomb forces hold liquids together but are so weak that they cannot affect flow! Gravity and angular momentum of a large mass is stronger!

Water is weird.
Solid steel is heavier than water. However coulomb forces can cause sufficient surface tension to float a paper clip. Watch what happens when some JOY(TM) enters the equation and fouls up the local charge orientations and states in that metallic alloy.
