Hey KA,
How ya doin'? Wish you were here too....*sniff....sniff*

BTW, I had an idea. If this WonderCon idea comes about, we could persuade someone to burn off a good number of copies of Sandy's "Exodus" series CD's to hand out. (If that's allright with Sandy of course). With the CD and Gordon's replica kits, some decent size prints of the fan art at Fleets. Have a trailer of "Battlestar Galactica: The 14th Colony" running on a DVD player. See if any of the original cast would make any appearence(s), maybe Tom Desanto even? Display Michael's Desanto Viper? Anyone else's contributions I might have left off could be included. I think that would be SOOO cool! Whadaya thinks?

I was thinking we needed to have some BSG stuff playing. We can run it off of my laptop onto a large monitor or two. I will see what I can come up with.

With Sandy's ok, I can burn disks. No problem. I need to talk to him ASAP so I will ask.

Definitely have BG eps playing. We've also kinda gone of-topic. We should probably move this thread and re-title it Wondercon 2007. How and who could do this? (My noob flag is showing...

Tom and I really had a good time on this day!
We are really good friends now. Kamikaze was here at this point to hang out with us for a bit. I called her and invited her along.

And the Fleet member get together in front of Richard's booth.

If you ask me, altogether too big a deal is being made out of the fish head. At this rate, it's going to turn into one of those things that people talk way too much about but in reality it's not that impressive... just like a misnamed show on the Sci-Fi Channel.

But as long as we're talking about it... I didn't actually throw the damn thing at Hatch did I? I can't seem to recall.

Like somebody said earlier, San Diego Comic Con is like trying to sip from a firehose! Timing and arrangements are a bear with so many people. And I was the stinky cheese on this one! Sorry about that!

Hello Jewels,
WonderCon is in San Francisco CA and is essentially a scaled-down version of the San Diego Comic Con, about 1/4 the size (approximately, maybe less). Is that about right Dy? It's a three day event, March 2-4th 2007.

As far as the fishhead is concerned, I wasn't there but I did hear about it, SOOO I'll let someone else who was an eye-witness have the honor of regaling us with the tale about said fish!

Seriously though... I think that crusty fish head was the grossest thing I've ever seen on a plate, even worse than the gelatinous desert from my high school cafeteria that smelled similar to a wet dog.

OMG! You guys are killing me!

Two pics that I would have loved to have seen but I don't think that we got: The look on Erik's face when he saw the fish for the first time and Richard making fish faces.

Oh, and the fish is not in a dumpster. I stole it from Mike's backback and am having it chromed as a hood ornament for my '67 Mustang. Now if I hit someone they can say that they were "fish-stanged"!

FYI - Brian says I look wierd in that picture. He is right but I think that "out of scale" sums it up better.
