Default Don't Hope On A Tom DeSanto Return To BSG!

Part of Korn Fan's post on the Galactica 2003 board: "As for Tom Desanto, he had 3 failed attempts in trying to get back his continuation production. He will still be working on X-Men 2 until the last minute and his next project will be another movie adapted from a book by Steven King. The man has moved on."

I wish Tom well in his future endeavours.

Default So what should be going on behind the scenes?

If Tom has moved on. Who is beeing discussed behind the scenes to save Battlestar Galactica from being reimagined?

There must be someone, IF there are really some things going on behind the scenes...

Very soon we will know for sure. Filming has been said will start within the next three weeks. I'm only hoping that the cameras won't start rolling for RDMs horrible remake plan.

There's someone with a vested interest in the show you are forgetting. Could be him. We'll just have to wait and see.

Im betting on Glen Larson but thats a guess. After all he was the one that made/invented Galactica, he's a respected producer with a lot of power in hollywood. Im glad he dumped that Moyer guy and hope he returns back to make a continuation series with Richard.
Larson is the only person I can think of. I hope that Michael can clarify this issue in time.

Just don't lose heart yet, gang. It isn't over yet, and who knows what the dynamics of being "up-for-sale" can do to expensive projects.

My guess is that either Larson will be stepping in or he's finally made peace with Richard and has given him his blessing to bring The Second Coming to life.

Actually Donald Bellisario would be a good choice to head this project if you could get him.

He has created many hit shows: JAG, Magnum PI, Airwolf, Quantum Leap

And was an associate producer on Baa, Baa Black Sheep

And most importantly he was a writer/producer on the original Galactica series!!!

I love Bellisario's work.
Airwolf and Black sheep especially.
They need to remake Airwolf or turn it into a movie.

I'll say "what Jewels said" to make it a hat trick. Not all is as it appears. 'Nuff said.

LOL, OWD. We're twins for a reason.

I think the best thing that could happen to BSG is Bellasario. He knows it well and could give it what it needs. I think he may be the only player extant that I would give the reins to and walk away without worrying about what he would do with it. I would trust Bellasario completely.

Hehe. Titon I like the new sig. If the One I'm thinking is ultimately in charge and has an interest: It won't take a million of me. It actually may only take 2 of us by one paradigm I know or 300 of us by another one I can think of.

Heeheeheehee. Cugel, if you are there, Bud, keep up that visualizing thing you do. Still holding up my end of the deal. you only reap what you sow!

Hey people, I'm not kidding. I know absolutely nothing. I'm as stupid as a turkey in a rain storm.

I'll prove it by gobbling my car keys. SLURP GOBBLE GOBBLE YUMMY

And yes ojai22, you are my twin and we are very much alike but as a man, I just can't seem to get used to this makeup and dress wearing thing.

These high heals are killing me. It makes it very painful to put my foot in my mouth. I could take them off but then again, I have to go back to what I was saying before. I'M JUST TOO STUPID. LOL

PS Only someone stupid would call them selves stupid so I rest my case.
