I voted 1000 light years..........as the Galactica must travel between the Colonies and Earth, and as we'd like to see it commaned by Cmdr.Apollo I went for the least amount of time. Perhaps they will find a shortcut there like Voyager did.
I also voted post Exodus.......as that is when all the action takes place, and when they are likely to find Earth.

Celestia and addons
Celestia is a freeware package that can be downloaded at http://www.shatters.net/celestia/
an addon is where you create a series of models, in ,3ds format and actually add to the software.
Celestia itself is a 3d galactic simulation software |

Mine often locks up, or some features just flat won't work. Anyone else have that problem?

Celestia is a very nice package. There is a very active community, and it is a way to get your work a wider audience.
A good quality BSG add-on would be very well recieved.

I had a few problems with it as well, so I don't have it installed right now, but I would put it back on just to see how the add-on looked
