flintstones flintstones flintstones
Always, always, always The Flintstones. In fact, if it weren't for Galactica, The Flintstones would be my all-time favorite TV series.
The Flintstones premiered in 1960, and I was born in 1961. My mother told me she watched the series when she was pregnant with me, so I blame her. I suspect I was influenced prenatally.
The Flintstones went off the air in 1966. I don't remember watching the show when it originally aired, although I had some Flintstones toys as a toddler.
And then....
In August of 1967, Cincinnati got an independent TV station--Channel 19 (now the local Fox affiliate). I remember it vividly because my sisters and I watched the channel faithfully in the for the children's programming. I started first grade that fall. Channel 19 showed The Flintstones at 6 p.m. every weekday, and I got hooked. I don't know why. It was an adult cartoon and I was only 6 years old, and I didn't come to understand many of the jokes until I was in high school. But I was obsessed. It was the first show I ever obsessed over. (Galactica didn't happen until 11 years later.)
In four decades, I have probably seen some of the episodes 200 times. I can "do" the Flintstones the way others can "do" Star Trek or Star Wars--that is, I know the show backwards, forwards and upside down.

Heh, I guess I should've said all time, although it would seem that most of my favorite cartoons seem to stem from the here and now.
My favorites of all time were probably:
Star Trek The Animated Series
Flash Gordon
Tom and Jerry (from the 50's and 60's)
and just about any Warner Bros. Looney Toons cartoon.
Sorry for not being more clear.
Respectfully,
Martok2112

The Warner Brothers classics will always be the best. I've developed a greater appreciation for Disney's classic animated shorts that have been released in the "Walt Disney Treasure" DVD collections too. Flintstones was great it's first couple years when it had a more adult edge to it but the birth of Pebbles was a total Jump-The-Shark moment that made the show less fun afterwards.

My son and I love Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends! We quote dialogue from the show back and forth to each other. Hands down, my favorite episode involves Cheese, the imaginary friend that Mac mistakenly believes that he created. Best line from the episode: "You should be happy! The bunnies are on fire!"
I hadn't thought about Star Blazers in a long time. As a kid, I was glued to the television screen everytime it came on.

I saw that episode, and laughed my head off...especially when you hear of some of Cheese's other real world friends....and how their names combine.

Amen!!!
One of the funniest lines I'd heard on Duck Dodgers was when "Eager Young Space Cadet" (AKA Porky) is wearing nothing but skivvies and a mask, and he says:
"Can I put my clothes back on? M- m-m-my nipples are cold!"

Another very funny cartoon that used to appear on Nickelodeon a few years ago was Duckula. That cartoon was a riot sometimes. Especially when Duckula and company visit Mexico.

I was raised pretty much on Bugs Bunny, so I would have to say Bugs is my all-time favorite. Even have a favorite episode too: it's "What's Opera, Doc?" where bugs and elmer play the leads in a Wagnerian opera and he 'dies' at the end. I used to hate it when I was a kid because I was so sad that Bugs dies, but as I grew older I saw how splendid the cartoon really was and now it's my favorite!
Also enjoy original Scooby Doo and because of my young daughters, I actually catch myself having watched some Hamtaro!
