Mission 6 help?

I'm in the mission where you control the Galactica's turrets as its moving through the Cataract, and the Basestar is following and fires missiles at me till I explode... Anyone know what exactly it is I'm supposed to do to stop this from happening? The damn thing just keeps firing missiles at me till I explode...

If you are using the PS2 system go to the left side of the controler and press the bottom arrow. This will bring you to the turret over the Big G's rear. From there you can destroy the incoming missilles by holding down the square button [] on the right side of the controller. That charges the missiles and destroys the incoming ones.

Shiningstar there should be something in the gameing manual pertaining to the turrets. It is on page 22 in the BG manual for PS2.
