Stars of the Mini to appear at Comic Con?
It appears that the Sci-Fi channel is going to promote this "remake" at Comic-Con featuring the stars of the show, Edward Olmos, Katee Sackoff, Jamie Bamber and Tricia Helfer to name the ones on the new list of professionals expected to attend. I don't know about you but with what the fan base has been saying about this show,I'm hoping nobody shows up for the panel they'll likely have and the Sci-Fi channel will finally get it that nobody wants to see the "remake".

Actually, someone should ask Mr. Olmos if he really lobbied the studio to keep the script "as written", which has been rumored.
His answer would be most enlightening.

If enough people show up for the panel discussion to express their displeasure of the mini series, maybe TPTB will get the message. Of course, they will proably put a spin on it in their favor.   |

It should be interesting.
It would be VERY interesting to sit in on that panel discussion and see how much heat Olmos and the others take for the remake. Of course, SciFi probably choose a comic convention because they feel it's a better forum for their new production. A science fiction convention might not be as favorable to Galactica 2003.

The official website reports that Ron Moore and the other Galactica:90210
actors will be at the Comic Con in San Diego who will be hosting a Battlestar
Galactica miniseries presentation on Friday, July 18th, at 12:00PM - 1:00PM
PST. Edward James Olmos, Jamie Bamber, Katee Sackhoff, Tricia Helfer, Ronald D.
Moore, and David Eick, are among those attending as well as others.
Any Continuation fans live in the San Diego area?
