Default Science Fiction, HA...more like Science FACT

I couldn't believe this when I read about it. I was just talking to a co-worker today about the next step in communications being something similar to the "com badge" that they wore on ST:TNG , DS9, and Voyager. Then, I found this website, ....maybe it's a lot closer to reality than I had originally thought.

Check it out:

http://www.vocera.com/index.htm

(Once on the website, click on "Products" and then, "Datasheet".)

Too Cool!!!

You know I've always said that Sci Fi is the only true real prophecy.

In terms of technology. If you want to know what technology to invest in as an investor, take a look at Sci Fi. In 20 -30 years those things become reality.

I think it's because the kids who grow up watching the stuff, want all the cool gizmos. Then when they become adults, they find a way to make it reality.

Now if only one of those kids would invent a Speeder Bike!

Personally, I liked the Commlocks on Space:1999. The whole shebang, as well as TV. Sweet.

I remember reading once, some scientist or phiolsipher or something, said something like there is nothing man can imagine that he cannot achieve.
