"Tyrol" is Aaron Douglas -- Confirmed
Our "Tyrol" is now confirmed to be the one and only Aaron Douglas, the wonderful actor who plays CPO Tyrol in the SCIFI miniseries Battlestar Galactica. I think this will end any speculation otherwise. For those that wonder how this was confirmed:
The agent for Aaron Douglas is a Vancouver based company named Pacific Artists. You can find there fine web site on the internet if you want. I looked up there number and contacted them. I had a friendly conversation with a nice lady there named Lena Lees. She confirmed that Aaron Douglas is one of their actors and that she would confirm whether Aaron Douglas was or was not posting at Colonial Fleets under the name "Tyrol". She gave me her email address (which is also listed at the Pacific Artists site) and requested I send her an email on the subject. I then sent her the email. She replied in email that Aaron Douglas is in fact our "Tyrol" and he does regularly post at Colonial Fleets. In addition Aaron Douglas replied himself to me by email with the forwarded email from Lena Lees. I will forward the emails to the Colonial Fleets administrator so they can keep it on file.
Thank you again Aaron Douglas for spending the time you do with us!
I'm pitching my tent and putting on my colonial warrior outfit!

Thanks for taking the effort man.
It was never an issue for me, I had assumed that it was legit.
But this will end the discussion, except for the most rabid conspiracy theorist.

Emails
I sent the emails to admin@colonialfleets.com so nobody could say I was making it up! If someone doesn't want to believe Conumdrum once he sees the emails there's nothing you can do for them. At least now this will eliminate the grief Aaron gets once in awhile on the subject.

Thanks for the legwork, antelope.
Hey someone from your city was on Jeopardy this week--even won. That's where I heard that city name before.

Hmmm...
Y'know - the really sad thing is that anyone felt it needed to be confirmed. Maybe that's just me. I'm trusting by nature, but the chances of anyone "claiming" be be Aaron - and then being that damned nice to us - is a pretty slim bet. Impersonators are usually malicious. Aaron has been nothing but generous and helpful. There just wouldn't have been a point.

Antelope should be commended for taking the time to find out and providing the information to all those concerned. But I am afraid that some will still continue to doubt the authenticity, unless Aaron actually knocks on their door and says it's him.

Aaron???
Aaron:
Was that actually you I spoke to twice last night or was that your doppelganger??
By the way, sorry for knocking Andromeda.
Can you tell me which episode you were in (or what Season)?
I really liked the first 2 seasons...
By the way, have you heard from Eddie?
The EJO Yahoo Board has been quiet & his agent has not been responsive to my e-mails the last few days.
Thanks for everything- Aaron right? Are you sure its Aaron? Maybe its Tyrol? Is it Chief Tyrol? Or is it Brave Tyrol? Or.....
Enough of this banter...

The Andromeda, and no I don't think you trashed it at all, was shot in December. I think it is episode 4 of this year and it is called.....damn...can't remember....crap.....I have to stop writing my inner dialogue....I'll find it and post it later...it is on my resume which is in the car...too much info..I'll stop now.
