Kind of pipe wasn't the problem. I knew what kind of pipe I needed . The problem was the lack of repair.....as the broken pipe in question was leaking water into the hole I shared with it vigorously; and the genius at whom I was yelling had a problem with valves. Somehow he could not understand that you rotate the valve clockwise........
