Charles Bronson passes away
I really liked him. I enjoyed his tough guy persona on screen. He had great charisma.
he could deliver a great soliloquy.
He died today of pneumonia.

Oh Boy,
I loved his movies. I remember seeing a unusual movie a couple of years back with him in it. It was one of those sickly sweet chrismast films. Bronsan played a bitter journalist who had to write a storie tracing the existance of Santa Clause, because a little little girl requested it. The movie was set during the depression.
But I remember Bronson most for his role of Frank Cursy I think it was in the Death Wish Movies, as well as films like Murphys Law and Street Fighter. Yes for all those wet behind the ears 20 somethings, there was a movie called Street Fighter made before the video game license which starred Jean Claude Van Dame, and the Bronson version was better because it had both plot and heart.
I also remember Bronson in the movie 'The Great Escape' his was a very low key role in the film when compared to the role the likes of Steve McQueen played, and if they ever remake 'The great escape' and use Tom Hanks. There was talk of them remaking the classic Frank Capra movie 'It's A Wonderful Life' a fews years back, and they were looking to Hanks to portray the Jimmy Stewert role.
Now I know that the original 'It's a wonderful life' is not everyones cup of tea, and I also know that they have used to I don't want to have ever been born thing over and over again in many TV Shows and Sitcoms. But the fact is, it was done in Capra's movie first and that movie for all the special effects and what not that we have now should be left alone. Because to me it is about the lives of those people who lived in that time.

That is very sad to hear. He was a very talented actor and definitely played the "tough guy" perfectly. He will be missed.
Rest in Peace

I liked Mr Bronson.
One of his films, The Whit Buffalo,a clunkly film, has him at his best. His spech to Crazy Horse (Will Sampson) about the horrible power of the white man is both creepy and realistic, almost prophetic.
He will be remembered.

There is something about that film!!! Whenever it's on, I just cannot stay away from it!!! It's weird. Do you all have movies or shows like that?? (non-BSg that is!)

Wow, another great lost. I've enjoyed many of Bronson's performances over the years, particularly his roles in The Magnificent Seven and The Dirty Dozen. The original Death Wish is still a very chilling, powerful film. A fine actor who will be sorely missed.

This has been a bad year for the older generation in Hollywood. Many great losses. Mr. Bronson joins their number.

If I've forgotten anyone, please add them to the list.
