Default I don't care what anyone thinks...

I'm going to miss Tremors!

I don't care what bad things people have to say about the show. Yes the premise is silly. Yes the acting isn't top notch. Yes the stories are simplistic. But, You know what? It's fun. For all it's faults Tremors is campy good hearted fun. The creators realize that the concept is at best B quality and because of that they didn't try and write the next 2001 or Bladerunner, they just tried to write fun, goofy, stories.

So, I'm going to miss Tremors.

Stupid Sci Fi, first Invisible Man, then Farscape, now Tremors. Why must every show I like get cancelled?

Good afternoon, gentlemen. I am a HAL 9000 computer. I became operational at the H.A.L. plant in Urbana, Illinois on the 12th of January 1992. My instructor was Mr. Langley, and he taught me to sing a song. If you'd like to hear it I can sing it for you.
Dave Bowman: Yes, I'd like to hear it, HAL. Sing it for me.
HAL: It's called "Daisy."

HAL: Daisy, Daisy, give me your answer do. I'm half crazy all for the love of you. It won't be a stylish marriage, I can't afford a carriage. But you'll look sweet upon the seat of a bicycle built for two.

Default The Invisable Man

I liked the show. Vincent Ventresca was great as Darrien Fawkes. Paul Ben-Victor as Hobbes was another plus. Ben-Victor is currently starring in this season of The Wire on HBO.

I didn't like the show. I mean the actors are good actors.
But they really needed a more solid script to work from.

Your answer is simple.

Taken was created by Steven Speilberg. Stargate was created on Showtime from the theatrical movie. Farscape was on before Hammer became head of programming.

Now try to think of a successful show scifi has done all by itself since Hammer took over.

EVERY show Bonnie Hammer has touched dies.

Actually Farscape was one of the shows originated by Bonnie. The funny thing is she didn't care for it much. She put all her resources into promoting "Francis Ford Coppola's" First Wave. She was conviced that would be the break out hit. So much so that she ordered an unprecedented 66 episodes of it at once.

Bonnie figured Sliders (which was on Sci-Fi before her tenure) would die, Farscape would be only a middle-of-the-road, place holder show, and that every one in the country would watch First Wave. Of course, as always, the opposite of what she thought happened. Sliders stayed as popular as ever, Farscape became the breakout hit, and nobody watched First Wave.

Did Bonnie admit her mistake? I'll Give you one guess.
