I'm happy getting to shuttle pilot this week.
It will be a while before I get a starfighter. (altho I covert warrior status and I so want that Viper. so I can blast some cylon tin..)

Simple goals like that keep us slow'uns amused

How's this for a milestone....I got my second basestar and didn't even realize it till now. I knew I was close, but then I didn't realize how much I'd posted in the last week. So go me!

Ms. Star Wars 2005 was a contest that the Fan Force held at All -Con (all-con.org) this year. Normally they hold Mr. Star Wars at Dragoncon so this was the first Ms. Star Wars. It was too much! I really didn't think I'd win. They had guest star judges... Troy Denning (SW author), Christine Hewett (Tonaka sister from the cantina scene), and Gerald Home (Squid face and was a mon calamari officer in ROTJ). They had us promote ourselves as we "strutted the catwalk" talking about what makes us a "geek" and what our prized posession was. (mine was my very own living stormtrooper. LOL) Then we moved on to the "help me obiwan..." speech, we had to say it as best as we could. Then we had to deflect enemy fire with a lightsaber, then we had trivia... all mine were "Master" level and I got all of mine right. Then we had to dance like a Twi'lek in Jabba's palace, punt an ewok down the isle... mine went the furthest and then we had to do the Amidala plea to Boss Nass in GUNGAN TALK! ... you never realize how hard it is to quote a scene until they change the rules on you. lol I really thought my friend won it but the judges said my persona was the best for the "SW universe" (er should I be scare?) ....so the rest is history. The crown, the sash, and the medal are in a box to protect them until the next event. lol To some it may be corny but to me and the other girls... it was fun!

And I would'nt mind judging the 'Twi'lek Dancing' stage. Man, that would be sweet!
