Default Revenge of the Sith Soundtrack

OMG, I am listening to the ROTS soundtrack again and the music is heart-movingly beautiful and haunting. OMG, this music is fantastic and I can't wait for this movie!

I love Battle of the Heroes, and the last track of the CD, to the last scene of the movie, is OMG so touching. I won't even say the title to the last track because it is a spoiler of what the last scene is about, even though I have expected for years exactly what the last scene of the movie would show, and I was so right.

God, I love this music. I have been very emotional of late and perhaps that is why this is affecting me so much.

Wow. I am so going to cry during this movie.

OMG, even the end credits music tells an entire story on its own.

Wow. Just wow.

Battle of the Heros is a great piece of Music, John Williams does it again. God he is a Legend, him and Danny Elfman are my Fav Composers

Yeah and if you listen to the end credits, you can here the music from the Medal Cermony from A New Hope

Where you are, did you get the bonus DVD entitled Star Wars: A Musical Journey

Yes, the whole of the end credit music is really special. And not only Battle of the Heroes, but also Anakin vs. Obi-Wan is one of my favorite tracks. Though I was greatly surprised that there were no hints whatsoever of Duel of the Fates which I had fully expected in that track, the mixtures of the Imperial March was fully expected and previously hoped for in that piece. That and the Battle of the Heroes mixes were fantastic. Padme's Ruminations was so haunting. And Anakin's Betrayal was also incredible. JW created some of the best music I've heard in many soundtracks, his included.

Yes, I did get the bonus DVD, and I'm sad to say that I have not even played it yet. I must do that ASAP.

I got the soundtrack with the bonus DVD...and both are awesome.

The DVD is hosted by Ian McDiarmid, and contains lots of footage, mostly from the first five Star Wars films, but does have some doses of Episode III as well.

Respectfully,
Martok2112

I think the new soundtrack is pretty cool. Definitely a must have. And did you all know that all original three Star Wars movie soundtracks have been re-released as special edition 2 disc sets? They are in stores right now, so if you have never bought the soundtracks for the original trilogy, now is the time!

The weird thing is that Duel of the Fates appears in the movie

I purchased the cd with the bonus disk. The music is better than episode II's soundtrack.

Right. I noticed it, or realized it upon my second viewing of the film because it was so briefly used in that scene. I am still surprised that it wasn't integrated into the Vader/Kenobi duel as well.

I think you can hear it in a part of the Vader/Obi-Wan duel.

And Taranis, I can play the Ep II soundtrack on my PC no problem

I beg to differ, though I could still be wrong. But I saw ROTS again yesterday for viewing #5 and I did not hear it at all during the Vader/Kenobi duel. Do you remember in which phase of the duel you heard it?

I too recall hearing it during the Yoda/Palpatine duel. It is in there when Palpatine I believe is hurling the pods down at Yoda...

Taranis, I'm from the UK, so my copy should be pretty much the same as yours, in that it does say "won't play on pc or mac" on the cover. It just seems that XP can play it, whereas my old PC (that my Brother now has), that had Windows 98 couldn't.

I purchased the cd. Battle of the heros rocks. They even included a bonus dvd with the music from all of the star wars movies. I can't wait for the movie to be released on dvd later this year.
